Initiation Carries Devotees Into Immortality

On 26 October 2013 in Kaunas, Lithuania I gave first initiation to eight devotees and 2nd initiation to four devotees. The eight first initiates are: Lilasuka Das, Vyasadeva Das, Arjuna Das, Sudama Das, Amalatma Das, Aniruddha Das, Annapurna Devi Dasi, and Gaurangi Devi Dasi. There is nothing more satisfying that seeing sincere souls solemnly commit themselves to an eternal life of Krishna consciousness in submissive service to Guru and Krishna. This means that their suffering in this material world is now finished and they have now entered into immortality. The four second initiates are Mahabhagavat Das, Rabindra Das, Vraja Kishore Das, and Ekayani Devi Dasi. These devotee have accepted their first initiation vows very seriously and are now designated as brahmanas.

Question: How to Be Sinless?

My dear Gurudeva,

The four regulative principles doesn't seems to be exhaustive. I mean to say that a devotee won't kill even an ant. But by experience this seems impossible. When we walk or run we kill hundreds of ants. Now, how can we be sinless if we are killing? Secondly, how to keep kitchen clean? There are many cockroaches in my home and I'm hesitating to bring anti-cockroach medicine to kill them. Please shower transcendental knowledge on this matter.

Answer: Avoid Killing As Much As Possible

It is not possible to completely avoid all types of killing this world because even by our breathing we are killing so many living beings. But out of compassion on all varieties of living beings, devotees avoid killing as much as possible. When one is walking he can watch his step to make sure that he does not step on any insects. He can keep his kitchen spotlessly clean so that there will no food particles lying around to attract the cockroaches.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
