En Route to Lithuania for Ecstatic Holy Name Retreat

16 October 2013--After leaving early this morning from Pune, India we are now in London for an overnight halt. Early tomorrow morning we will catch a flight to Helsinki, Finland and from there a flight to Vilnius, Lithuania. I am looking forward to the upcoming Holy Name Retreat this weekend in Lithuania. It is a wonderful opportunity to dive deeper and deeper into the sweet nectarean mellows of Lord Sri Krishna's transcendental holy names. There is indeed nothing as sweet and relishable as Lord Sri Krishna's holy names. To chant them with love is the ultimate bliss.

Sankarshan Das about Diving Deep into Krishna's Holy Names

Question: How to Know the Will of Krishna?

How does one judge whether a negative situation requires active effort to mitigate the situation or whether it requires acceptance as the will of the Lord? I have read and heard equivocal solutions.

Thank you
Mahesh

Answer: According to the Orders of Guru and Krishna

When Arjuna faced a negative situation on the Battlefield of Kurukshetra he wanted to accept it without trying to mitigate it. But then Lord Krishna ordered him to take active steps to remedy the negative situation. In our case, we should also do what the Lord instructs us to do either directly or through the transparent via medium of the bona fide spiritual master. Sometimes we have to tolerate what cannot be changed, and sometimes we have to act aggressively to change things. This distinction is made according to the orders of Guru and Krishna.
