Is Hare Krishna Chanting Boring?

It would seem from a material point of view that to chant the same sixteen word mantra over and over and again for many hours a day, day after day, week after week, year after year, decade after decade would become unbearably boring. But actually that is not the fact. Why is this so? The reality is that by chanting the Hare Krishna mantra with devotional love one is directly associating with Lord Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who has inconceivable innumerable attributes. Even if we were to connect with just one attribute of Krishna, we could go deeper and deeper into that one attribute with ever-increasing taste and bliss for all of eternity, what to speak of innumerable attributes! Therefore there is absolutely no question of boredom in Krishna consciousness. Rather, it is material sense gratification which is indescribably, intolerably boring.

Question: Why Can't We Say God Krishna?

What is the difference between God and Lord? Why can't we say God Krishna just as we say in India Bhagavan Krishna and it is said Lord Krishna in the western world?

Answer: Bhagavan is the Best Descriptor for the Lord

Lord and God both mean controller. Since Krishna is the supreme controller He can be called Lord or God. Either term is acceptable. The term Bhagavan is the most accurate descriptor for Lord Sri Krishna because it refers to that person who possesses unlimited power, beauty, renunciation, knowledge, wealth, and fame. The term Bhagavan has been translated into English as the Supreme Personality of Godhead by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
