Sweet Memories of Russia
The red tape hassles that we had to endure for going in and out of Russia were more than worth it because chanting Hare Krishna and discussing the teachings of Krishna with the Russian devotees was oh so sweet. We had three mangala aratis at the home of our host, Gopinath Prabhu. There were four lectures at the home of my Russian disciple, Bhaktilata devi dasi. And the icing on the cake was a hall program which was arranged by Lila Avatar Prabhu and his wife, Alexandra. Such sweet memories we will always carry within our hearts.

If one sincerely begins the process of Krishna consciousness in this lifetime but does not reach the goal of pure devotion, he will take birth again in this material world in a situation favorable for him to advance further along the pathway towards pure devotion. So any attempt to advance in Krishna consciousness is for your eternal benefit, even if you are not able to perfect it in this lifetime.

Question: Too Late for Krishna Consciousness?
If I were to start practicing Krishna Consciousness at my age (55), would I still have ample time to achieve liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth? What would happen if I wasn't able to reach that goal within this lifetime?George
Answer: It's Never Too Late
It is never too late to take up the wonderful liberating process of Krishna consciousness. It truly does not matter at what age one starts. If one is sincere and takes complete shelter of Sri Guru and Sri Krishna, he can attain spiritual perfection in this lifetime and go back to home, back to Godhead when he leaves his present body.If one sincerely begins the process of Krishna consciousness in this lifetime but does not reach the goal of pure devotion, he will take birth again in this material world in a situation favorable for him to advance further along the pathway towards pure devotion. So any attempt to advance in Krishna consciousness is for your eternal benefit, even if you are not able to perfect it in this lifetime.
