Reviving Our Relationships with Krishna
Every living being has an eternal rasa or relationship with Lord Sri Krishna in any one of five primary rasas: neutrality, servitorship, friendship, parenthood, or conjugal. In the conditioned state the living entities of this material world have forgotten what is their rasa. Through the purificatory process of Krishna consciousness they will gradually become free from all the dirt of material contamination accumulated over many thousands and millions of lifetimes and awaken to their eternal relationship with Krishna. One should carefully note in this regard that as long as one possesses even the slightest tinge of material desire within his heart he is not qualified to know what is his rasa with Krishna. So instead of prematurely trying to figure out what is his rasa, an impossible feat which detrimental for the attainment of pure bhakti, the neophyte devotee should concentrate on being fully absorbed in devotional service to Lord Sri Krishna 24 hours a day. This will gradually bring him to the perfectional, liberated stage in which he fully realizes and relishes his eternal rasa with Krishna.

Is the prisoner's road to freedom to commit suicide? No. His ticket to freedom is to rectify his criminal mentality of flaunting the laws of the state so that he can be released from prison and again become a free citizen. If one commits suicide, according the law of karma, because he has destroyed his gross body in his next lifetime he will not get a gross body. He will instead become a ghost and live in a very hellish, frightful existence. But if instead of committing suicide he will take advantage of Lord Sri Krishna's instructions in the Bhagavad-gita and surrender Himself fully unto the Lord, he will qualify himself to enter the Lord's eternal and live there forever in unlimited bliss.
