Ever-Expanding Ocean of Bliss
On 25 April I gave a lecture on the science of mantra yoga at the Vedic Culture Center in Kaunas, Lithuania. No matter how much bliss we experience in Krishna consciousness, there is always even more bliss out there that we can experience. This program at the Vedic Culture Center was no exception to this principle. This ever-expanding ocean of bliss that we are experiencing every day will one day inundate the entire universe with unlimitedly sweet transcendental happiness.

In case of suicide, the person destroyed his gross body and in his next life time he will not get a gross body. Instead he become a ghost.
Kindly let me know in case of death punishment sentenced by the court of law, will the murderer get a gross body instead of becoming a ghost? In this case the gross body was destroyed by the court of law, which is against the natural law. Can human being give death punishment to a criminal?

Answer: It's a Kindness Upon the Murderer
According to Vedic injunctions it is great karmic benefit for a murderer to be put to death. Because he murdered someone, he must also be murdered. If he is given life imprisonment and dies naturally, he will have to be murdered in a future lifetime. This means that he must remain in miserable state being tortured by the fear of being murdered for a prolonged period of time. But if he is put to death, he gets his karma finished quickly and becomes free from being haunted by the prospect of being murdered. So it is kindness upon the murderer for the state to put him to death.Sankarshan Das Adhikari
