The Purpose of Life Revealed

A life without real meaning is pointless. Imagined meaning is useless. But yet most people resign themselves to such a miserable fate simply because they do not know any better. They work hard their whole life only to be rewarded with a grave at the end. Those who are intelligent and philosophically inclined search diligently for the purpose of their existence until they finally find it by coming in contact with a bona fide spiritual master. The bona fide spiritual masters are very kind because they constantly travel all over the world to enlighten everyone in the science of life's real purpose.

I was most fortunate to come into the contact of such a bona fide spiritual master who taught me the science of how to revive my eternal, beyond-the-grave identity and then ordered me to make this science available to all suffering souls all over the world.

My question for today is, where can one find a spiritual master?

I know that when the student is ready the teacher shall appear, but is there not something more one can do to come into contact with a spiritual master? And how would one know that the person is the right spiritual master?

Regarding where one can find a spiritual master, just as the foolish owl who with closed eyes asked the sun where he could find the sun, one should open his eyes and see that person who is already instructing him in the science of Krishna consciousness according to the Bhagavad-gita as it is. From such a bona fide spiritual master we should accept shelter, initiation, and instructions.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
