Don't Be a Miser

Miser means miserable. So it does not make any sense to remain a miser. The word for miser in Sanskrit is "kripana". This is similar to the English word "creep", which means an unpleasant, obnoxious person, or in other words, a miser. To be a miser means to be a taker instead of a giver. The miser always tries to exploit others for his own personal advantage. He has no desire to serve others, because he thinks that he can only be happy by serving himself. He does not realize how much joy there is in giving service to others.

The perfection of serving others is to serve that person who is the root cause of all existence, because when we serve Him we automatically render the best loving service to all living beings. Just as when we water the root of a tree all the leaves and branches are nourished, when give our love to the Supreme Personality of Godhead our love is distributed to all living beings, and we feel unlimited happiness.

Question: Benefit of One Moment of Pure Bhakti?

Please accept my humble obeisances,
May your blessings and mercy always be on me.

Is it true that if a person does even one moment of truly loving devotional service to Lord Krishna then the person is blessed multiple times?

What is best time to chant the Hare Krishna mahamantra? 4am to 6am or 4am to 7am or other?

Is it correct to chant between 12 midnight and 4am also? Or is chanting to be begun from 4 am?

Sunil

Answer: Unlimited Blessings

If one renders even one nanosecond of pure devotional service, he will receive unlimited blessings. The best time to chant the Hare Krishna mantra japa is in the early morning hours before sunrise, but it can be chanted any time and any place 24 hours daily.

I personally like to begin my morning chanting by 2:30am.
