We Are Begging Krishna's Blessings to Be Victorious in Our War Against Maya

We are fighting a war against the wicked age of Kali with seemingly impossible odds for our victory. But in spite of this we are assured by Bhagavad-git (18.78) that in due course of time we will be successful;

yatra yogeśvaraḥ kṛṣṇo
yatra pārtho dhanur-dharaḥ
tatra śrīr vijayo bhūtir
dhruvā nītir matir mama

Wherever there is Kṛṣṇa, the master of all mystics, and wherever there is Arjuna, the supreme archer, there will also certainly be opulence, victory, extraordinary power, and morality. That is my opinion.

Thank you, Srila Prabhupada, for bestowing the supreme benediction of Krishna consciousness upon us!

As a novice, I would like to ask: how many rounds of japa-mālā are recommended for a beginner? Should the mahā-mantra be chanted silently within the mind or in a soft, whispering tone?

Kindly guide me on how to begin properly.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
