In a lecture on Sri Caitanya Caritamritat Ādi-līlā 1.13 given in Mayapur on April 6, 1975 Srila Prabhupada said:

Don't be falsely puffed up. Follow the ācārya's instruction and try to make yourself perfect, mature. Then it will be very easy to fight out māyā. Yes. Ācāryas, they declare war against māyā's activities, that māyā instructing that "Here is wine. Here is cigarette. Here is that..." In your country these advertisements are very prominent, hoarding both ways: wine advertisement, cigarette advertisement, naked woman advertisement, and sometimes gambling also, advertisement

Our endeavor is to put a stop to all of these nonsense activities, especially meat eating. because as long as people are addicted to sinful activities they will never be able to understand the science of Krishna consciousness.

If a devotee has not enaugh faith that the Guru is fully versed in scriptural knowledge to provide confidential answesrs to kill the doubts, how the devotee can develop his firm faith to succeed in Krishna bhakti?

My Dear Devotee,

Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.

I am willing to personally take the time and trouble with each and every one of my beloved disciples to help them become free from all doubts. They are free to inquire directly from me to their full satisfaction. I am empowered to properly instruct them because I am well versed in the teachings of Srila Prabhupada, having carefully studied and followed them for over 54 years. However in spite of this the disciple thinks that I am not sufficiently versed to help him become free from all doubts, my order to the disciple to carefully and repeatedly read of all of Srila Prabhupada’s books covers everything.

And yet in spite of all this the disciple still thinks that I am useless he is free to reject me and go somewhere else for spiritual guidance. However if so he chooses to do so he should know from Srila Prabhupada what will be the result. Srila Prabhupada spoke in the regard in lecture he gave on the Sri Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Ādi-līlā 1.13 on April 6, 1975, in Māyāpur, West Bengal, India:

"So if you insult your ācārya, then you are finished. Yasya prasādād bhagavat-prasādo yasya aprasādāt na gatiḥ kuto 'pi—finished. If you displease your ācārya, then you are finished.”

The point is that it is the greatest insult to reject the spiritual master. It is very much displeasing to him. Such a grievous offense is tantamount to cutting one’s own throat.

However, if a such a fallen disciple is repentant and comes back to the spiritual master to once again take shelter of him, the spiritual master will immediately forgive him and lovingly accept him back as if this offense was never committed. This is the unlimited kindness of the spiritual master.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee.
