Hare Krishna Śrīla Gurudev & Śrīmatī Gurumāta
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
All glories to Your Grace & Śrīmatī Gurumāta
As your grace may have heard about the war situation of India with Pakistan, it has become very intense and sensitive. The conflict escalated when terrorists attacked innocent civilians in the Pahalgam region of Jammu and Kashmir. Since then, the atmosphere has been extremely challenging and filled with tension.
Yesterday was like a death-like experience. By your grace and mercy, I was taking the online Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam session at night when suddenly Pakistan launched drone bomb attacks in our area. Despite the terrifying sounds and chaos, by your mercy and blessings, the class continued, and after the session was over, the attacks continued till
midnight.
Throughout this critical time, we continuously chanted the Hare Krishna Mahāmantra, performed Hare Krishna kīrtan live on YouTube, and prayed for everyone’s safety and protection. Whatever little strength I could feel during that moment was purely your blessings and inspiration.
I was deeply reminded of the divine pastime when your grace once fearlessly shouted “Jaya Narasiṁha!” and armed robbers with guns fled. That memory gave me courage and faith that the protection of Lord Narasiṁhadeva is always with your sincere disciples.
I have also shared the links of the videos that were captured during the attacks.

It is being said that tonight could be even more challenging. Although our Indian defense forces are doing a brilliant job by neutralizing missiles and drone bombs in the sky, the situation is still unstable.
I therefore humbly seek your continued blessings, guidance and the prayers for all so that peace can be maintained on both sides. May this dangerous situation become an opportunity for more people to hear the message of the Lord and understand the real goal of human life.

My Dear Dristadyumna,
Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
I begging Lord Nrsimhadeva that you and your wife, Sarvamangala devi dasi, may not be harmed by the
Pakistani attack on your neighborhood. Regarding being in danger I was hearing a lecture of Srila Prabhupada this morning regarding Queen Kunti’s famous prayer in
Srimad Bhagavatam, First Canto, Chapter 8, Text 25:
vipadaḥ santu tāḥ śaśvat
tatra tatra jagad-guro
bhavato darśanaṁ yat syād
apunar bhava-darśanam
"I wish that all those calamities would happen again and again so that we could see You again and again, for seeing You means that we will no longer see repeated births and deaths.”
In the beginning of this lecture Srila Prabhupada said:
So that is very interesting verse that vipada, calamities, danger, that is very good if such danger and calamities remind me of Kṛṣṇa. That is very good.
And then later in the lecture he said:
Devotee is never afraid of dangers. He's confident that the danger, that is another feature of God. "So why shall I be afraid? I am surrendered to Him." So Kuntīdevī says that vipadaḥ santu. Vipadaḥ santu tāḥ śaśvat. Because he..., she knows how to remember Kṛṣṇa at times of danger. So he is..., she is welcoming danger: "My dear Lord, I welcome such dangers when I can remember You." Just like Prahlāda Mahārāja, he was always thinking of Kṛṣṇa when his father was putting him in dangerous position. So if you are put into the dangerous position and if that dangerous position gives an impetus to remember Kṛṣṇa, that is welcome. That is welcome. "Oh, I am getting this opportunity of remembering Kṛṣṇa." So how it is welcome? It is welcome because seeing Kṛṣṇa means I am advancing in my spiritual life so that I'll not have to suffer any more of these dangerous position.
A devotee is always fearless because he knows that whatever may happen to him is by arrangement of Lord Sri Krishna.i
I hope this meets you in the best of health
and in a cheerful mood.
Your ever well-wisher,
Sankarshan Das Adhikari
