Wonderful Things Happening in Bulgaria!

Today I want to share you this wonderful report from my disciple Nitai Candra Prabhu in Bulgaria, where he and his brother, Gaura Candra, who is also my disciple, are in charge of an ISKCON community which does cow protection, grows food, has ecstatic kirtans and classes, book distribution, and public kirtans. Here is the report:

Thank you very much for the emails and for the wonderful programs on Start Meeting. I regularly reading the Ultimate Self-realization Course broadcasts, which help me a lot.

For July and August we had 9 Sunday feast programs in the Burgas preaching center; 5 Harinams (public chanting festivals) in Sunny beach (one of them was with 50-60 devotees from all Bulgaria and one Harinam was on Janmashtami); 50 Krishna conscious books were distributed, two very nice public programs in the Shambanya yoga retreat center; every day morning programs in the farm; Balarama Purnima, Janmastami and Srila Prabhupada's Vyasa Puja were celebrated;, special sweets were served on Balaram Purnima and on Srila Prabhupada Vyasa Puja; plus we harvest 12,000kg of cucumbers, 6,000 kg of tomatoes, and 3,000 kg of pepper..

Bhagaha Prabhu and Bhakta Mitko were here for book distribution, they sold many books.

A devotee who haven't extended his family and have no kids. Then how he will survive at old age? Who will take care of him? Even though he has sufficient money but how he will get help?

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
