Super Ecstatic Prabhupada Video

In 1972 I was there with Srila Prabhupada at a super ecstatic double festival in New Vrindavana. We celebrated Janmastami one day and Srila Prabhupada's Vyasa Puja the next day. It was unlimitedly ecstatic because Srila Prabhupada was personally with us the whole time. There is a wonderful video of this event which you can see by clicking here (although it has been dated incorrectly as 1973.)

In those days New Vrindavan was the place for big movement-wide festivals since Mayapur and Vrindavan had not yet developed. This video will take you there with the hundreds of devotees from all over ISKCON who were relishing the nectar of chanting, dancing, hearing, and feasting in the unlimitedly divine association of Srila Prabhupada.

Question: How to Deal With Negative Thoughts?

I would like to ask if you don't mind. If I get negative or unwanted thoughts is it better to let them come or is it better to suppress them?
In other words how to deal with negative thoughts?

Is it wrong for a person to commit suicide? I have absolutely no intention of doing it.

Will be grateful if you can answer.

Lord Sri has mercifully given this instruction how to conquer your mind:

yato yato niścalati
manaś cañcalam asthiram
tatas tato niyamyaitad
ātmany eva vaśaṁ nayet

"From wherever the mind wanders due to its flickering and unsteady nature, one must certainly withdraw it and bring it back under the control of the Self."

If you will simply put your full faith in Lord Krishna's instruction and do what He says, your mind will become fully conquered and under your control. In other words all you have to do is absorb your mind in chanting the Hare Krishna mantra.

Kick suicidal thoughts out of brain. Suicide makes things worse. One becomes a ghost.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
