Atheism is Easily Defeated
I recently explained to an atheist that every machine requires an operator. We cannot anywhere find a machine that has the consciousness to turn itself on. And we can also see that this gigantic universe in which we reside functions just like a machine. Therefore there must be a Supreme Operator who is behind this machine upon whom this universal machine is dependent for its functioning. Therefore God must necessarily exist.

“Peacefulness, self-control, austerity, purity, tolerance, honesty, knowledge, wisdom and religiousness—these are the natural qualities by which the brāhmaṇas work.”
So no matter what family one is born in, if he has these qualities he is a brahmana.

Answer: Brahmana is Not by Birth
According to authoritative Vedic injunctions someone’s being a brahmana is not based on their birth. It is based on their qualities. In this regard Lord Sri Krishna states in the Bhagavad-gita, Chapter 18, Verse 42 as follows:śamo damas tapaḥ śaucaṁ
kṣāntir ārjavam eva ca
jñānaṁ vijñānam āstikyaṁ
brahma-karma svabhāva-jam
“Peacefulness, self-control, austerity, purity, tolerance, honesty, knowledge, wisdom and religiousness—these are the natural qualities by which the brāhmaṇas work.”
So no matter what family one is born in, if he has these qualities he is a brahmana.
