We Don't Believe in God Because We Know God
If someone asks us, "Do you believe in God?" our answer is, "No. I do not believe in God because I scientifically know God."
Here's how we scientifically know God. Everything we experience has a cause. And that cause has a cause, which has a cause, which has a cause, etc, etc. etc. If we trace the chain of causality back far enough we will eventually find the original cause. That original cause of all causes is God. In Sanskrit language we say, "sarva karana karanam."
In response to this argument the atheist may object that there is no God, that there is no original cause, because there is instead a causeless infinite chain of causality. But we can see by understanding the example of a row of dominoes that unless there is a domino that can fall on its own without being pushed the row of dominoes will not fall. Theologians call this "the unmoved mover." Thus there has to be an original cause (God) otherwise nothing can happen.
Thus we know scientifically that God must necessarily exist, otherwise nothing could exist, not even the atheistic philosophers. So just see how liberal is Krishna that He allows those who deny Him to exist so that eventually they can realize their mistake and come back to Him.
