We've All Been Badly Misguided by Bogus Gurus

Our present day society is being grossly misled by so many bogus gurus. Srila Prabhupada mentions them in this interview he gave in London:

Reporter: Have you ever had people come to you who had previously been involved with a fake guru?
Śrīla Prabhupāda: Yes, there are many.
Reporter: Were their spiritual lives in any way spoiled by the fake gurus?
Śrīla Prabhupāda: No, they were genuinely seeking something spiritual, and that was their qualification. God is within everyone's heart, and as soon as someone genuinely seeks Him, He helps that person find a genuine guru.

Srila Prabhupada has so kindly freed us from the clutches of so many bogus gurus. We should always be careful to only take instructions from bona spiritual masters, those who present Krishna's teachings without any adulteration, not from the charlatans.

Some people have claimed that I am a bogus guru. You can judge for yourself by reading the Bhagavad-gita and seeing whether or not I am presenting Lord Krishna's teachings without any addition or subtraction.

Answer: Only Bogus Gurus Indoctrinate

Dear Adam,

Kindly note that only bogus gurus indoctrinate. The bona fide spiritual master frees us from the indoctrination that we have been programmed with since the moment we came out of the womb. The problem is that we have so thoroughly misguided and illusioned by a whole lifetime of indoctrination from bogus gurus that we cannot recognize a bona fide spiritual master when we are fortunate enough to meet one.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
