Do Not Cheat Yourself
Do not cheat yourself by misidentifying with your temporary material body. You are an eternal spiritual being qualitatively one with the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krishna. By chanting His holy names and giving up all sinful activities you will return to your original home in the spiritual world after leaving your present material body. You will go back to home, back to Godhead to enjoy an eternal youthful existence full of knowledge and full of bliss in the unlimitedly sweet loving association of Lord Sri Krishna and His pure devotees.
So what are you waiting for? Fully give your love and your life to Lord Sri Krishna right now.

This email is regarding the question I asked in the Srimad Bhagavatam class on 27 May. As I am less intelligent, I was not able to understand your explanation that you gave for my question "How is pride a torture?".
The doubt I have is that in this age of Kali people gain pleasure in having pride and don't feel anything wrong or feel pain in doing so.
On the other hand, being humble is seen to be a little difficult. We are supposed to be as humble as a blade of grass, that means anyone can trouble us. It is also seen that humble people are subject to more trouble.
So, can you please explain me what is humility and what is the right understanding of humility.
Also what is wrong or missing in my understanding ?
Looking forward for your reply .
Your Sincerely,
Bhaktin Vibha
Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
As it is said, "Pride comes before the fall." Those who are proud instead of humble are qualifying themselves to go down to the animal kingdom in their next births. Instead of accepting the authority of the Supreme Person they most foolishly think themselves to be supreme.
On the other hand, those who humble themselves before the Supreme Person as His eternal servants attain the topmost perfection of going back to Home, back to Godhead after leaving their present material bodies.
So which do you think is better: being humble or being proud?
I hope this meets you in the best of health.
Your ever well-wisher,
