Six Guidelines for Surrendering to Krishna

In his book, The Teachings of Lord Caitanya, Srila Prabhupada wonderfully and mercifully gives us the guidelines by which we can fully surrender ourselves unto Lord Krishna. They are as follows:

One should:
(1) accept things favorable for discharging devotional service
(2) reject things unfavorable for discharging devotional service
(3) believe firmly in the Lord's protection
(4) feel exclusively dependent on the mercy of the Lord
(5) have no interest separate from the interest of the Lord
(6) always feel oneself meek and humble.

By taking these guidelines very seriously we will easily attain the perfectional stage of devotional service to Lord Sri Krishna.

Question: Why Covid 19?

Respected Sir,

I believe that Lord Sri Krishna is our Protector/Savior, and also the creator and destroyer of this universe. Anyone who prays to Him sincerely, no doubt their prayers will be answered unexpectedly. I also find some solace in prayer, because I know prayer is voice of faith directed to Lord Sri Krishna. There's no even an iota of doubt that Lord Sri Krishna will save us (the whole of the human race) from the present situation - a pandemic of Covid-19.

But what's the actual reason for such unexpected deaths of millions of people due to sudden infection caused by the deadly Corona virus, a microorganism? And how could we cope with this invisible Corona virus - obviously a strange creation of the Creator?

All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Covid-19 is a karmic reaction for the humongous volume of sinful activities currently being committed by the human society, which has descended now to a platform lower than the animals. The way to counteract such atrocious inauspiciousities is to become pure devotees of Krishna and aggressively broadcast His glories all over the world.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
