Are We Trying to Serve or Be the Supreme?

The big problem we have in this material world is that each of us is trying to be God. In other words of each of us is trying to be the center of the universe. This is why there are so many conflicts going on constantly all over the world. If instead of trying to be God we all agree to serve that one Supreme God, Who is the source of all existence, we will then have perfect and harmony all over the world. Thus in the Krishna consciousness movement this is our mission, to convince everyone that there is one Supreme Being who is the source of all existence and that the method for our perfect peace and happiness is that we all work together as one loving spiritual family to please Him by all of our thoughts, words, and deeds in all times, places, and circumstances. If this is accomplished we will joyfully experience on this planet an era of peace and happiness the like of which has not been experienced on this planet for thousands of years.

Question: Why Not Discuss Material Success?

Why doesn’t ISKCON want to discuss material success?

Answer: For Devotees it Comes Automatically

Material success follows automatically like a shadow for one who focuses his energies 100% on re-establishing his loving relationship with Krishna (God). On the other hand, those who focus their energies on material success will ultimately be failures both materially and spiritually, even though they may temporarily show some material success. So why be a failure when one can achieve unlimited success? It is simply a matter of real intelligence.
