All Hell is Breaking Loose Now on Planet Earth

This planet Earth is becoming now more and more of a hell with every passing day. Even here in usually peaceful Austin, Texas there were big riots yesterday. The difficulty is that people want the kingdom of God without God. But they cannot have it. If they want genuine peace, happiness, and prosperity on this planet, they must put God back into the center of their lives. Otherwise, in spite of all their material advancement they will be living in a hellish dungeon of the demons. Therefore our mission in this Krishna consciousness movement is to lead the whole world out of chaos by solidly establishing Krishna or God as the center of the human society. We are thus now praying for the special mercy of Srila Prabhupada and Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu that we can now be fully successful in making the whole world Krishna conscious as soon as possible.

Answer: Only Materialists Do That

That is the mood of a materialist. A devotee of God is the constant well-wishing friend even of those who have offended him. In this regard we see that Lord Jesus prayed to God to forgive the sin of those who were putting him to death on the cross. He said, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they are doing.” This is the mood of all genuine spiritualists. Those who don’t have this forgiving, well-wishing mood are factually materialists even though they may advertise themselves as spiritualists.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
