There is no need to punish yourself by remaining in material consciousness. Your factual nature is that you are eternal, full of bliss, and knowledge. So why keep yourself in the dimension of temporality, ignorance, and misery? Human life means advanced intelligence more than the animals. Advanced intelligence means to realize your eternal, non-material nature. That advanced knowledge is already there within everyone. Simply is now covered due to material association. This is why it is essential to get as much spiritual association as possible. This can be had in many ways such as reading scriptures, chanting the holy names of God, eating the remnants of foodstuffs offered to the Supreme Lord, serving the devotees, and taking shelter of the bona fide spiritual master through the process of initiation. Take advantage of these such blessings and make your life unlimitedly sublime.

If you would like to be a dog in your next birth, you can certainly accept your dog as your spiritual guide. But if you would prefer to enter the spiritual world upon leaving your present material body, you need a bona fide spiritual master who has come to you in a human body. Unfortunately nowadays it has become very popular for someone who has no more qualifications than a dog for being a spiritual master to declare that he is a spiritual master and misguide his students. This is why the modern day world is described as a fool’s paradise, a society of the cheaters and the cheated.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
