Krishna Consciousness is the World Religion

There can be only one God, the source of all existence. There cannot be many. However, since that one God is unlimited He has unlimited names such as Allah, Jehovah, Krishna, and Rama. To fully surrender unto that Supreme Person is the universal religion for all. Indeed it is the world religion. The Krishna consciousness movement teaches this principle of the universality of religion and is thus establishing in a real, practical sense the world religion. In this regard Srila Prabhupada wrote in a letter to his disciple, Vamanadeva:

"So stick very strictly to these principles and chant regularly daily sixteen rounds and you will always remain the topmost position. Have nice deity program, always have lots of Kirtana, serve ample prasadam very sumptuously and speak something from my books. If this is done in every center our movement will very soon become the world religion as has now been predicted by one prominent Japanese philosopher in a newspaper here."

When we can thus fully establish the world religion on this planet it will be one of the most glorious eras in all of human history. So let's endeavor like anything to now establish Krishna consciousness as the world religion as soon as possible.

Question: How Much Should I Chant?

Thanks very much for this insight regarding chanting Hare Krishna. But how much should I chant this mantra i.e 10, 20, 30 minutes or 1 hour.

The great spiritual master, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta
Swami Prabhupada, taught us to chant at least sixteen rounds
of japa per day. This takes from 1.5 to 2 hours. Here are the
instructions how to do that:

If it is not practical for you to start at sixteen rounds, start at four rounds and gradually work your way up to sixteen.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
