Conquer the World for Krishna

Our goal is to philosophically conquer the entire world by convincing everyone that Lord Sri Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and that they should thus all become His devotees. We simply want to see that everyone has become happy by the revival of their pure transcendental natures. We want that Krishna consciousness should predominate all aspects of the world culture: education, religion, government, entertainment. travel, heath, business, etc. May that day come soon. May that day come as soon as possible to relieve the suffering people of the world from their misery.

Question: How to Improve Japa?

How can I improve my Japa? My chanting quality has gone down. It is mechanical. I complete my 16 rounds as a duty. But I feel just did it as a ritual.

Your servant,
Vishal

Answer: Meditate Daily on this Verse

from: Sri Mayapur Dhama, India

My Dear Vishal,

Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Every day before you begin your chanting recite this verse from the Upadeshamrita and meditate deeply on its meaning:

syāt kṛṣṇa-nāma-caritādi-sitāpy avidyā-
pittopatapta-rasanasya na rocikā nu
kintv ādarād anudinaṁ khalu saiva juṣṭā
svādvī kramād bhavati tad-gada-mūla-hantrī

"The holy name, character, pastimes and activities of Krishna are all transcendentally sweet like sugar candy. Although the tongue of one afflicted by the jaundice of avidyā [ignorance] cannot taste anything sweet, it is wonderful that simply by carefully chanting these sweet names every day, a natural relish awakens within his tongue, and his disease is gradually destroyed at the root."

I hope this meets you in the best of health and in an ecstatic mood.

Your ever well-wisher,
Sankarshan Das Adhikari
