True Religion is Not Sectarian

Religion has gotten a bad name, not because religion is bad, but because what is presented nowadays as religion is not actually religion. Religion nowadays has erroneously come to mean something sectarian. Therefore people commonly ask, "What religion do you belong to?" But there is factually no such thing as this religion or religion because religion is one, to relink oneself in a loving relationship with the Supreme Person, who is the source of all existence. That Supreme Person has unlimited names in accordance with His unlimited qualities, activities, and relationships. Anyone who has revived their lost loving relationship with that Supreme Person is practicing true religion. Others who present themselves as being members of this religion or that religion without trying to awaken love of God within their hearts are simply cheaters and bluffers.

Answer: We Don't Follow Any Particular Religion

Because there is actually no such thing as different religions, we do not follow any particular religion. Religion is only one, to become a pure lover of God. Any attempt to divide it or cut it spoils it. It is then no longer religion. It is only religiosity. The real meaning of religion is to fully surrender oneself until the will of God. This can be practiced by anyone: Christians, Jews, Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Jains, etc., provided that they take proper training and guidance from the bona fide spiritual master.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
