Make a Spiritual Revolution on this Planet
It is wonderfully stated in the Srimad Bhagavatam 1.51.11:
"On the other hand, that literature which is full of descriptions of the transcendental glories of the name, fame, forms, pastimes, etc., of the unlimited Supreme Lord is a different creation, full of transcendental words directed toward bringing about a revolution in the impious lives of this world's misdirected civilization. Such transcendental literatures, even though imperfectly composed, are heard, sung and accepted by purified men who are thoroughly honest."
Therefore the mission of all those who have taken shelter of Krishna is to make a spiritual revolution on this planet by pushing forward the teachings of Krishna for the deliverance of the fallen, conditioned souls from their entrapment in the cycle of repeated birth and death.
The conclusion is that you should not live your life as a victim of circumstance. You should take complete control of your destiny by surrendering to Krishna, and you should then to the fullest extent of your capabilities perform the highest welfare activity of making a spiritual revolution on this planet.
I recently came across the news of one of the devotees committing suicide because of some reasons which are not known to me.
I used to have suicidal thoughts at some point. Though, by Krishna's grace, now I don't think about it. But I've got a query. What happens to the soul after suicide?
Does the result differ in case of souls who have been trying to serve and please Krishna and guru but because of their impulses or not so strong faith they decide to give up their lives, and the ones who are absolutely engaged in materialistic activities?
Waiting for your valuable guidance.
Begging your mercy,

Question: If a Devotee Commits Suicide?

Answer: Real Devotees Do Not Commit Suicide
A devotee of Krishna never thinks of committing suicide because he knows fully well that because his body belongs to Krishna he has no right to kill it. Suicide is grossly sinful. Anybody, pseudo-devotee or non-devotee, who commits suicide must suffer for a very long time as a ghost. Because they killed their gross body, in their next lifetime they do not get a gross body. They only get a subtle body, a ghostly body. It is very hellish to be a ghost, because even though the ghost has gross material desires, he has no gross body through which to fulfill those desires. This is why ghosts try to haunt persons with gross bodies to vicariously enjoy sense gratification through them. Ghosts search for weak-minded persons that they can take control of.Sankarshan Das Adhikari
