ive Up Mundane Association

If you want to awaken your dormant Krishna consciousness, you have to become aloof from the association of materialistically minded people. This is confirmed by Lord Caitanya. When He was requested to explain the duty of a devotee of Krishna, He immediately said, "asat-saṅga-tyāga-ei vaiṣṇava-ācāra--The first business of a Vaisnava is to give up the association of persons who are not Krishna conscious." [Cc. Madhya 22.87]. Prahlada Maharaja has the same mood. He prays to the Personality of Godhead that he may avoid the association of nondevotees, those who attached to the materialistic way of life. If Prahlada must be attached to someone, he prays to be attached only to a devotee.

Answer: Natural Pure Love for Krishna and His Devotees

Bhakti, the supermost occupation of the human being, is pure love for the Supreme Lord Krishna and His devotees. One who has awakened this bhakti within his heart automatically fully absorbs himself in unmotivated, uninterrupted loving service to Supreme Lord and His devotees. This rendering of service is a natural reciprocation of love between Krishna and His devotees. It restores the original eternal blissful, full-of-knowledge consciousness of those who practice is seriously.
