Zooming Beyond the Stratosphere

On 2 January 2013 we had our final home program for this tour in Melbourne. After zooming on a fast elevator all the way to the 27th floor of a downtown Melbourne high rise residential tower we zoomed even further beyond the stratosphere on the supreme elevator, Hare Krishna kirtan. When, even before my lecture began, I was given a huge stack of questions written down on small pieces of paper I opted to speak on a Bhagavad-gita verse (BG 6.19) with a very short one sentence purport so that I would have plenty of time to answer the ton of questions from the eager audience.

We can always remain high, in an elevated state of consciousness by always hearing about, talking about, and remembering the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Question: A Bona Fide Guru Who Does Not Chant?

Hare Krishna,

Could you tell me of a bona fide teacher in the world today, who does not need to chant the name of Krishna or any name for that matter please? I am referring to somebody who has God's mercy and is sharing that with others without him or her needing to practice a technique like japa mala or any other practice.

Thanking you,
Prema

Answer: All Bona Fide Gurus Will Chant God's Names

It’s nice to hear from you.

Since the yuga dharma, the prescribed self-realization system for this age of Kali, is chanting the names of the Lord, as confirmed in the Brihan Naradiya Purana, all bona fide spiritual masters in this age will chant the names of God and instruct their disciples to do the same.
