Here in Mendoza, Argentina we are holding the "Nectarean Holy Names Retreat." It is a two day intensive training and celebration seminar centered around chanting the simply wonderful holy names of God. On the agenda are ecstatic kirtans, delicious and nutritious prasadam, powerful classes based on Srila Prabhupada's teachings, enlightening question and answer sessions, plus tons of Vaisnava association.

Question: Why the Girl Was Raped and Murdered?

Respected Sir,

My humble obeisances to you.

The Delhi gang-rape (16 Dec 2012) has troubled and pained the nation as a whole and one and all.

What I seek to know that why did the girl had to die after bearing such demonic violence. She has undergone unbearable physical pain and mental torture about which we cannot even talk. She boarded a bus with a male friend ( at around 9 .30 pm) and was attacked by 6 drunken men who brutalized her. Why did such an incident take place with a human being? Has it something to do with past birth? Who were these men and why did they become tool of such heinous a crime?

It is very sad that violence against women is on alarming increase in India. What is the cause of this?

Answer: Atrocities Caused by Demoniac Government

That such atrocities take place are due to the presence of demoniac governments all over the world. In the Vedic age when the leaders were saintly everyone lived peacefully and happily, even the animals. When the government men are themselves cheaters, the cheating naturally filters down to every level of the human society, and the planet becomes more and more of a hell for everyone
.
Unless the world can be ruled by Krishna conscious leaders such atrocities will simply go on increasing more and more. Therefore the Krishna consciousness movement has been started to the save the human population from an ever-increasingly tortuous situation on this planet by creating a new class of saintly leaders all over the world.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
