From Summer to Winter in One Day

10 January 2013--After five weeks of traveling in the hot summer in the southern hemisphere from Mauritius to South Africa to Australia to South America, we are now en route from hot Argentina to cold Canada. Krishna describes such dualities in the Bhagavad-gita advising to tolerate them without being disturbed. Yesterday we got on the plane in the hot summer of Argentina. Today we will be getting off the plane in the cold Canadian winter. This world of hot and cold, happiness and distress, and honor and dishonor can never satisfy us because we desire constant, steady happiness. However if we will enter the wonderful world of Krishna consciousness, we will always be delighted at every minute in happy loving relationship with Lord Krishna, the source of everything.

I have so many doubts:
1) If our karmic account is settled in hell or heaven, then why do we suffer here?
2) All we know and read of God was in the past. So how we will ever know what God is doing right now at this moment?

Answer: Awaken Your Krishna Consciousness

Karma is active on all the planets including the earth planet. It is not that karma is only active on the heavenly and hellish planets.

If you awaken your dormant Krishna consciousness, you will able to experience first hand what Krishna or God is doing right now.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
