Time is More Valuable than Money

Time is more valuable than money. Money can be lost and gained, but any time lost is gone forever. It can never be reclaimed. Therefore we should not waste even a single moment in unnecessary material pursuits. We should instead absorb ourselves as much as possible in constantly hearing, chanting, and remembering the transcendental name, fame, forms, qualities, and pastimes of the unlimitedly sublime Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is known primarily as Krishna and also by millions of other names.

Reply from Christian: Jesus is the Only Way

Hello Sir ,

Thank you very much for taking your time and replying me.

Regarding the explanation you have given below, I think you have to be informed that Jesus says in John 14.6 "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".

Hinduism is all about idol worship and since millenniums they were into dowry, sati and so many rituals, which are strongly against the principles of Christianity and Islam. More over Islam is considered to be the most scientific religion and most of the principles of Christianity and Islam are the same. So in this context how do you feel that Hinduism fits in as it is completely against this?

Also if you worship the God/Holy Spirit, again their arises a conflict that who according to you is God because as per what you said that Hindu God must be the real God, but many millions of God exist in Hinduism . The count of Gods in Hinduism is something which none of the Hindus know exactly.

Answer: But Christians Don't Follow His Only Way

We agree that Jesus is the only way because he is the representative of God. Christ is teaching that if you want to approach God, you must approach Him through His representative. You cannot approach Him directly. Krishna teaches the same principle in the Adi Purana. But the difficulty is that the Christians are not following Christ. They are maintaining big, big slaughterhouses where every day they torture and murder millions of innocent animals in spite of the Biblical injunction against killing.

We agree that many followers of the Vedic tradition become sidetracked by so many rituals. This is why the Bhagavad-gita teaches that one should give up all of these rituals and fully surrender himself unto the Supreme Lord.

The millions of gods which are described in the Vedic scriptures are not the Supreme God. They are his subordinate servants to assist the Supreme Lord in His universal managerial affairs. The Bhagavad-gita strongly asserts that we should not worship these millions of gods, that we should instead simply worship the one Supreme God.

If one is truly religious, he will develop all saintly qualities. But we see that all over the world the so-called religious people are deeply engrossed in sinful activities. Therefore we are wondering when will that happy day come to this planet when those who profess religion will actually become religious.
