Beg Only for Pure Krishna Bhakti

Every day millions and billions of people pray to God to fulfill their material desires. What most of them don't realize is what they should pray for. They do not know that whatever material happiness and distress they will experience is due to their karma and that therefore there is only one thing worth praying for--pure bhakti. If, by God's grace, we can be granted pure bhakti, pure devotional service, then we are automatically liberated from the reactions of our previous karma and fully provided by the Lord with whatever will best facilitate our loving service to Him. This means that we will become fully enlivened in transcendental bliss and completely free from anxiety regarding our material situation. So instead of nickel and diming the Lord begging for the cheap trinkets of material sense we should beg Him only for the unlimited wealth of pure devotional service unto Him.

Question: Origin of the Universe

You have written. "It is an ancient system that has been around ever since this universe began 155 trillion years ago." So I think you may know what existed before the universe began and how the universe begins. Is it a big bang or something else? Why Krishna created us? If every soul is personal as Krishna, there should be a number of them. How many souls exist?

Answer: Strengthening Faith, Not Changing Faith

What is unknown to the scientists is that our universe is just one of millions and billions of universes, which are much bigger than ours. The unlimited millions and billions of universes in the material sky come into existence when Mahavishnu exhales and are destroyed when He inhales. The cycle of exhalation/creation and inhalation/destruction has been going on for all of eternity.

Krishna has expanded from Himself an infinite number of living beings so that He can enjoy a unique loving relationship with each and every one of them.

It can be scientifically demonstrated that explosions transform order into disorder. Therefore the idea that our highly ordered and structured universe came into being as a result of big bang or explosion is not a scientifically valid concept.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
