Transforming Vision into Reality

Based on the authoritative descriptions given in the Vedic literature we can understand how in due course of time this entire planet will be transformed by this Krishna consciousness movement. Therefore we can envision a respiritualized world:

Where the entire human society lives together in perfect peace and harmony,

Where all the leaders are fully absorbed in Krishna consciousness,

Where nature reciprocates with the spiritually attuned consciousness of the human society by providing wonderful weather, clean air, clean water, along with ample fruits, grains, vegetables, dairy products, jewels, and gold for everyone's material prosperity,

Where crime, immorality, and terrorism are conspicuous by their absence,

Where people long healthy happy lives free of stress and anxiety without having to over-endeavor to earn their livelihoods,

Where the animals are well-fed and jolly and are free from the fear of being sent to the slaughterhouse,

And, where all the energy needs of the population are met in a 100% environmentally friendly way and everything is recycled so we do not turn this planet and its oceans into a gigantic garbage dump.

This vision can be transformed into reality if we will purely chant the holy names of the Lord:

Answer: It's Like Enjoying a Good Meal

It is like the satisfaction, nourishment, and relief from hunger you experience when you have a good meal. No one has to tell you that are getting these three things because you are personally experiencing them. Similarly when you factually awaken your dormant Krishna consciousness no one will have to certify this because you will personally experience how you are becoming detached from sense gratification, developing feelings of love for Krishna, and experiencing Krishna within everything.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
