Don't Cheat Yourself
You've come too far in the evolutionary process, the transmigration of the soul through 8,000,000 different species, to waste this rarest of all opportunities, the human form of life. Don't allow yourself to become sidetracked by the fulfillment of material desires. Your material desires are going to get fulfilled anyway by the arrangement of nature. Does the elephant in the African jungle have to make any big arrangement for fulfilling his desires? No, he does not have to. Whatever he needs is already there by God's arrangement. So do you think God is more partial to the elephant than He is the human being? So instead of putting all of your energy into fulfilling your material desires, put the bare minimum into this instead. The balance energy should then be invested in the activity of awakening your dormant enlightened consciousness, your Krishna consciousness, Christ consciousness, Allah consciousness, or Buddha consciousness. In this way your human life will not wasted. You will attain the supreme perfection.
We know that Krishna wants us to offer him vegetarian food because He does not want us to kill any living entity. But since plants have life too how can we kill plants?
Yours faithfully,
Naveen
Krishna gives us a way out of the never-ending wheel of karma. All we have to surrender unto Him by following His instructions. He tells us that if we offer Him with love and devotion those foods which He has allotted for us (vegetarian foods), that such eating is sinless and will free us from all our past sins. The souls of any plants that are offered to Krishna receive the special benediction of being accelerated on their evolution to the human form.
We cannot get the same result from offering Him meat, fish, and eggs because He has not authorized us to offer Him foods from these categories.

Question: How Can We Kill Plants?...
Respected Sir,We know that Krishna wants us to offer him vegetarian food because He does not want us to kill any living entity. But since plants have life too how can we kill plants?

Naveen
Answer: We Cannot Unless...
Killing plants is also sinful. The karmic reaction for killing a plant is that you have to become a plant. Someone could ask then, "If by eating anything you get a karmic reaction, shouldn't we then fast until death so we avoid accumulating any karma?" Even if one does that he will still accrue karma by breathing, because every time we inhale we kill so many microbial germs. So what to do?Krishna gives us a way out of the never-ending wheel of karma. All we have to surrender unto Him by following His instructions. He tells us that if we offer Him with love and devotion those foods which He has allotted for us (vegetarian foods), that such eating is sinless and will free us from all our past sins.
