Global Conflict Resolution in the Age of Conflict

I was recently invited to speak on global conflict resolution at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas, USA. Due to already having a lecture booked in Vail, Colorado on the same day I had to decline the invitation. This topic is most important because the present age of Kali, in which we are so deeply immersed, is the age of conflict. Conflict pervades the society on all levels. Persons and nations cannot get along peacefully with each other. Atrocities that were formerly unthinkable have practically become a daily affair in today's conflict torn world. There is so much fear now that you cannot even carry water anymore on an airline flight because the authorities are afraid that it might be some kind of explosive liquid. The scenario is not improving. In all likelihood things will continue getting worse.

Solution to Terror: Make God the Center of Our Existence

What is the solution for such conflict? If you throw your rock in a pond and I throw my rock in the same pond, the waves from our respective rocks will eventually clash with each other. But if we each throw our rock in exactly the same spot, there will be no conflict. There will instead be perfect harmony. So we all must "throw our rocks" in exactly the same spot. This will bring true peace and harmony.

The common central point for all living beings is the original source of all energies, that source from whom we all emanate. That common and original source is God.

Therefore if we want to end all local and global conflict we must all make God the center of our very existence. Actually He already is. The difficulty is that we have forgotten this. All we have to do to end all the conflicts throughout the world is to always be conscious of God. The science of how to do that is known as Krishna consciousness. This science must be taught throughout the entire world so that everyone becomes expert in this science.

Answers According to the Vedic Version

Question: Difference Between Mind and Intelligence...

I am surprised to learn that the mind and intelligence are two different things. But what is that difference? How to recognize one from the other? Thank you. Love always.

Tommi

Answer: Feeling and Deliberation...

The mind is the instrument for feeling different material experiences, and intelligence is the deliberative instrument which ponders the pros and cons of a thing and can change everything for the better.

Now you must use you intelligence to fully understand what is this sublime science of Krishna consciousness. If you do so, you will find it to be strikingly wonderful.
