The More We Give Krishna, the More We Get Krishna
The more we give Krishna, the more we get Krishna. Thus those who are highly advanced in Krishna consciousness are obsessed with the burning desire to give Krishna to all of the fallen souls who are rotting in this material existence so that they can all go back to Home, back to Godhead. Such a devotee fully experiences the unlimitedly ecstatic intimate personal association of Lord Sri Krishna at every minute. The way to become qualified to attain this unlimitedly ecstatic level of Krishna consciousness is to become a pure chanter of Lord Sri Krishna's unlimitedly sweet transcendental names. In this connection Srila Prabhupada writes as follows in his purport to Sri Caitanya Caritamrita, Adi Lila, Chapter 7, Text 83:
"A sincere student aurally receives the holy name from the spiritual master, and after being initiated he follows the regulative principles given by the spiritual master. When the holy name is properly served in this way, automatically the spiritual nature of the holy name spreads; in other words, the devotee becomes qualified in offenselessly chanting the holy name. When one is completely fit to chant the holy name in this way, he is eligible to make disciples all over the world, and he actually becomes jagad-guru. Then the entire world, under his influence, begins to chant the holy names of the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra."
So we should stop being such fools remaining on the neophyte platform of eating, sleeping, mating, and defending. We are most foolishly cheating ourselves out of unlimited oceans of nectar.

Very painful and horrible story you told about cow killing, Srila Gurudev.
By Krishna's mercy few days back I came to know about one farmhouse here in Oman. The Muslim caretaker has kept various animals like hens, ducks, cows, bull etc. taking their good care for business and he is retail selling fresh cow's milk also. I have started bringing fresh cow's milk now for offering. In this way the caretaker and cows will get spiritual benefit.
The cows, although fed sumptuously, give very less milk. Each cow gives around 3.5 to 4 litres in morning and even less in evening. Srila Prabhupad told in one lecture on SB 1.10.4 -- Mayapura, June 19, 1973 that it is because they are unhappy and they know that they will be slaughtered once they stop giving milk. In Dvaparyuga, when cows were under the protection of Maharaj Yudhushtir, they were very well cared and worshiped, knew that they will never be slaughtered so they were profusely giving milk. Even no need to water the ground, it used to become moist with milk. And cows in Goloka, they are happiest in love with Krishna, they supply milk endlessly.

So what is the position of the cow? I have seen when we purchase cows, the calves are already taken away. The cow was crying, regular tears were gliding down. So they can understand that... Who cannot understand? Suppose if you are taken in the concentrated camp? Just like the Germans did. What is the meaning of concentrated...? That he'll be killed after some days. So how you can be happy? If you are already informed, condemned to death, and kept in a concentration camp, will you be happy? Similarly, when these people take these cows to the slaughterhouse, animal stock room, go down, they understand. Very recently, about few years ago, some..., that animal stock store was some way or other broken and all the cows began to... Perhaps you know. It was published in the... And they were shot down. Shot to death. They were fleeing like anything, that "We shall save ourselves."
So if the cows are not happy, if they are always afraid, that "This rascal will kill us at any moment," then how they can be happy? There was no such thing. Therefore it is said: mudā. Mudā. Happy. And as soon as the cows are happy, you not only get sufficient milk, but the pasturing ground, I mean to say, ground, becomes moist with milk. So much milk supplied.
