When Radharani Met Krishna at Kuruksehtra
Once after Krishna had left Vrindavan and relocated in Dvaraka on the occasion of a solar eclipse the residents of Dvaraka including Lord Krishna and the residents of Vrindavan met at Kurukshetra. Regarding this meeting Srila Prabhupada writes as follows in his purport to Srimad Bhagavatam, First Canto, Chapter 10, Verses 9 and 10:
"Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa is so attractive for the living beings, especially for the devotees, that it is impossible for them to tolerate separation. The conditioned soul under the spell of illusory energy forgets the Lord, otherwise he cannot. The feeling of such separation cannot be described, but it can simply be imagined by devotees only. After His separation from Vṛndāvana and the innocent rural cowherd boys, girls, ladies and others, they all felt shock throughout their lives, and the separation of Rādhārāṇī, the most beloved cowherd girl, is beyond expression. Once they met at Kurukṣetra during a solar eclipse, and the feeling which was expressed by them is heartrending."
The most heartbreaking thing of all was Radharani's desire that Krishna return to Vrindavan as she describes in the Sri Caitanya Caritamrita, Antya Lila, Chapter 1, Text 114:
priyaḥ so ‘yaṁ kṛṣṇaḥ saha-cari kuru-kṣetra-militas
tathāhaṁ sā rādhā tad idam ubhayoḥ saṅgama-sukham
tathāpy antaḥ-khelan-madhura-muralī-pañcama-juṣe
mano me kālindī-pulina-vipināya spṛhayati
“‘My dear friend, now I have met My very old and dear friend Kṛṣṇa on this field of Kurukṣetra. I am the same Rādhārāṇī, and now We are meeting together. It is very pleasant, but I would still like to go to the bank of the Yamunā beneath the trees of the forest there. I wish to hear the vibration of His sweet flute playing the fifth note within that forest of Vṛndāvana.’”
The Ratha Yatra is celebrated in the mood of Radharani pulling the chariot to bring Krishna back to Vrindavan.I learned this in the very first lecture I heard from Srila Prabhupada in his personal presence. This was at the San Francisco Ratha Yatra celebrated on June 27, 1971. Srila Prabhupada said:
"So today is a very nice, auspicious day. On this day Lord Kṛṣṇa, when He was present on this earth, He attended a solar eclipse ceremony at Kurukṣetra, and Kṛṣṇa, along with His brother Balarāma, and Subhadra, sister, came to visit the Kurukṣetra field. That Kurukṣetra land is still present in India. If someday you'll go to India you'll find that Kurukṣetra land is there. So this Ratha-yatra ceremony is performed in commemoration of Kṛṣṇa's visiting Kurukṣetra with His brother and sister. So Lord Jagannātha, Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu, He was in ecstasy. He was in the mood of loving spirit like Rādhārāṇī, so He was thinking, 'Kṛṣṇa, please come back again to Vṛndāvana.' ''

As you stated in Q&A - thoughts of the day 4th Dec 21
“Thinking himself lower than the straw in the street”.
Straw always gets trampled. How to be humble without getting trampled or harassed at the same time?
Also how to follow “ready to offer all respects to others” when other people especially elders in the family, who are not inclined to Krishna consciousness say that, if I don’t follow or listen to them, then I am not respectful?

My Dear Prashant,
Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
I have strong feelings of appreciation for my mother even though she wrongly taught me to accept God as my order-supplier and wanted me to give up Krishna consciousness to become a Christian. She foolishly did not understand that by following the Bhagavad-gita I was a genuine Christian in contrast to the billions of so-called Christians who eat meat even though the Bible teaches "Thou shalt not kill."
So you should learn from my example to appreciate the good in them and not be swayed by their bad advice.
I hope this meets you in the best of health.
