Here's What Srila Prabhupada Said About "Simply Wonderfuls"
At the end of lecture given by Srila Prabhupada in Los Angeles on July 20, 1971 my dear Godbrother, Nanda Kisora Prabhu. asked Srila Prabhupada what happens when we give someone the sweet known as Simply Wonderful:
Nanda-Kiśora: What happens to a person if we just give him out on the street one Simply Wonderful or some prasādam, one piece of prasādam?
Prabhupāda: That is wonderful, simply wonderful. (laughter) He has not tasted such wonderful sweet in his life. Therefore you give him wonderful, and because he's eating that wonderful sweet, one day he'll come to your temple and become wonderful.
Devotees: Jaya!
Prabhupāda: Therefore it is simply wonderful. So go on distributing this Simply Wonderful. Your philosophy is simply wonderful. Your prasādam is simply wonderful. You are simply wonderful. And your Kṛṣṇa is simply wonderful. The whole process of simply wonderful. And He acts wonderfully, and it is acting wonderfully. Who can deny it?
Devotee: Prabhupāda is simply wonderful.
Prabhupāda: That's all right. You can become... Everyone. All right, have kīrtana.

May your life be simply wonderful! I had practical experience of giving a Simply Wonderful to a student at the University of Florida. After eating that wonderful sweet he dropped out of school and moved into the temple to become a full time brahmacari. His name is now Syamakunda Das.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
Today was quite wonderful on book distribution, 2 Saptarishi Sets and 9 or 10 Bhakta Stacks.
(Note: A Saptarishi Set consists of:
1. Journey of Self Discovery
2. Science of Self Realization
3. Bhagavad-gita
4. Krishna Book
5. Nectar of Devotion
6. Teachings of Lord Caitanyaa
7. Srimad Bhagavata, First Canto, Part One
And a Bhakta Stack consists of:
1. Science of Self Realization
2. Bhagavad-gita
3. 1 medium book
4. 1 small book)
One man named Jorge was so sincere, he took a Saptarishi Set, 2 Bhakta Stacks, one Spanish Gita and some japa beads! He drove me ten minutes to the ATM just to get the donation for the books! He gave $80.
Also I met a man I offered the books to. He said "no" that he doesn't need them. I said, "Have you heard of stress?". He said, "Yes." So I gave him the "On Chanting Hare Krishna" pamphlet and told him it will eliminate stress entirely if he chants everyday. He said, "How much?". I said, "Just take it. I usually give the pamphlets out for free, but you can leave a donation if you want." So he gave $10 and I made him take a Bhakta Stack!
But Srila Gurudeva, I am wondering how do develop love for Guru. I was thinking that I took initiation from you for my own benefit not in the mood of loving service. how to develop a sense of selfless service and true love for Guru?
Your servant,
Bhakta Avatar Das
Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Your book distribution report is filling my heart with bliss. The way that we develop love for our spiritual master is to associate with him as much as possible. There are many ways we can do this:
1. Attend his classes.
2. Join him on morning walks.
3. Read his written words.
4. Hear his recorded lectures.
5. Carefully follow his instructions.
6. Pray to him for the awakening of pure bhakti within your heart.
7. Always remember him with appreciation of how he is saving you from the cycle of birth and death and engaging you in the world deliverance mission of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
8. Worship his photograph.
I hope this meets you in the best of health.
