The Glorious Golden Era of Lord Caitanya

Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu, who is Krishna Himself in the garb of His own devotee appeared 500 years ago in what is now West Bengal to inaugurate the sankirtana movement, the movement of the congregational chanting of the holy names of God. This is the Krishna consciousness movement that has now spread all over the world and will eventually completely inundate this planet. It is predicted in the Brahma Vaivarta Purana 4.129.59:

kaler dasa-sahasrāni
madbhaktāh samti bhu-tale
ekavarnā bhavisyamti
madbhakteṣu gatesu ca

"For 10,000 years of Kali My devotees will fill the whole planet. After the departure of My devotees there will be only one varna [outcaste]."

Srila Prabhupada has referred to this verse in his purport to the Sri Caitanya Caritamrita, Antya Lila, Chapter 3, Text 50 as follows:

"It is said that the Krishna consciousness movement will be prominent within the next ten thousand years, but after that people will all become mlecchas and yavanas."

This means that Krishna will remain here in this age of Kali in the form of the Krishna consciousness movement for another 9,500 years during which time the whole world will become Krishna conscious. After this 10,000 year golden age this planet will become filled up with man-eating cannibals living in a jungle-like existence. It will be an unspeakable hell. But Krishna's devotees have no worry in this regard because they will all be back in the spiritual world.

Answers According to Vedic Wisdom

Question: Is Life Fair?

Is life fair? Why?

Kidi Gets

Answer: Absolutely!

What goes around, comes around. Whatever you have done in this lifetime and in your past lifetimes has, is, or will come back to you. This is the law of karma. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. There is also a way to escape your karma, and that is by fully surrendering to God. He will then give you a pardon and take you back to His eternal abode where life is eternal, full of knowledge, and full of bliss.
