Be True to Your Guru

The secret of success on the path of spiritual awakening is to be true to one's guru. Of course the guru has to be bona fide, otherwise both the guru and the disciple are going to hell. But when the guru is bona fide and the disciple is genuine the most wonderful transmission of transcendental knowledge and realization takes place. The student becomes blessed with the same perfection of consciousness that the spiritual master has been blessed with by his spiritual master.

Question: Life's Meaning for a Nihilist?

How do you find new meaning in life when you are a low key nihilist?

David Aaron

Answer: Reject Nihilism and Embrace Meaning

Dear Donald,

A nihilist is a person who believes that life is meaningless and thus rejects all religious and moral principles. If he is looking for meaning, this means he is not truly a nihilist. If one is looking for the meaning of life, he should approach the bona fide spiritual master, that person who has perfectly realized the meaning of life. The spiritual master will then fully enlighten him in the purpose of and the perfection of his existence.

Hoping this meets you well,
Sankarshan Das Adhikari
