The Most Auspicious Appearance Day of Lord Rama

Today is the most auspicious appearance day of Lord Rama. In the Srimad Bhagavatam (9.10.53) we read as follows:

"When Lord Ramacandra, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, was the King of this world, all bodily and mental suffering, disease, old age, bereavement, lamentation, distress, fear and fatigue were completely absent. There was even no death for those who did not want it."

Srila Prabhupada has written the following purport for this verse:

"All these facilities existed because of Lord Ramacandra's presence as the King of the entire world. A similar situation could be introduced immediately, even in this age called Kali, the worst of all ages. It is said, kali-kāle nāma-rūpe kṛṣṇa-avatāra: Krishna descends in this Kali-yuga in the form of His holy name -- Hare Krishna, Hare Rama. If we chant offenselessly, Rama and Krishna are still present in this age. The kingdom of Rama was immensely popular and beneficial, and the spreading of this Hare Krishna movement can immediately introduce a similar situation, even in this Kali-yuga."

So let us all now chant Hare Krishna without any offense. In this way happy times like the days when Lord Rama ruled this earth will again become manifested on this planet, and everyone will become peaceful and happy.

Question: Those Who Don't Accept Krishna's Form?

It seems in this world people have different temperaments. Some people want to see the Supreme as light. Some people want to see the Supreme as nature. For these people who cannot accept the personal form of Krishna, is there still a place for them in ISKCON?

Even when Krishna entered the wrestling arena, different people saw him in different ways. If our movement is all expanding, how do we include such individuals?

Answer: They Will Become Convinced

The Mayavadis, who do not accept that Krishna has a form, are most welcome to read our books and attend our programs. By doing so in due course of time they will become convinced that Krishna is not formless.
They will learn how to greatly appreciate His transcendental three-fold bending form, and they will become His devotees.
