The World's Greatest Movie

On 29 June 2017 shortly after we landed in Los Angeles from a 20 hour flight from Australia, my disciple Bhaktavatsala Das drove my wife and I to a nearby movie theatre to watch a showing of "Hare Krishna, the Film." It was a truly a super exhilarating experience. Srila Prabhupada is truly present in that amazing film. One can feel a very strong connection with Srila Prabhupada when seeing that film. And the more we feel connected with Srila Prabhupada, the more we become Krishna conscious and qualified to go back to home, back to Godhead. What could be sweeter than this? Therefore we encourage everyone to see this movie when it comes available in your part of the world.

Answer: We Cannot Manifest All Existence from Ourselves

God is that person who is the source of all existence. He is the fully independent cause of all causes. We exist only because He is manifesting us from Himself. We cannot exist independently from His manifesting us. Since we are all fully dependent upon Him for our very existence it is not possible for us to be God, the source of all existence.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
