Everyone is Hankering for Krishna
Everyone is hankering for love. In other words, everyone is hankering to be in a perfect loving relationship. Perfect loving relationship means a relationship which is completely devoid of any kind of cheating, duplicity or selfishness. Even though everyone is hankering for such perfect loving relationship, no one is able to find or achieve such a relationship in this world. Therefore everyone here is frustrated. Such an ideal perfect loving relationship can only be achieved by reviving our lost, loving relationship with Krishna or God. Therefore to achieve genuine happiness everyone in the world should become Krishna conscious.
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
I will pray to Krishna according to your guidance and excite my duty as a disciple as best as I can.
Dear Gurudeva, I am very much inspired and touched by Your message. Despite the physical pain, You remain super enthusiastic in sparking off a spiritual revolution. How can we follow Your footstep and become enthusiastic like You all the time?
Your insignificant servant
Ajita devi dasi
Srila Prabhupada did not abandon his revolutionary, deliver-the-world consciousness even when he was on his deathbed. In fact, in his final days in Vrindavan he stated:
"People are wondering if this old man is still alive. But they can know that I am still here beating on this big mridanga, and it is being heard all over the world."
So as his disciple it is my duty to have the same revolutionary spirit as exemplified by my most beloved Guru Maharaja, His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada. To faithfully follow in his footsteps I must always be enthusiastic to embrace the mood of pure bhakti within my heart and I must also always be enthusiastic to flood this darkened world with the brilliant light of Krishna consciousness. When I was a young brahmacari I was appreciated by Srila Prabhupada for my enthusiasm to make the world Krishna conscious. So now in my old age it is my duty to maintain this same mood up until my last dying breath, or even birth-after-birth if that is what the Lord desires for me.
