World is Being Grossly Misled by Fools and Rascals

The present day world leaders are simply fools and rascals. Therefore they are completely incompetent to provide an atmosphere of peace, happiness, and prosperity for the world's citizens. In this connection Srila Prabhupada states:

"In democratic government at the present moment all kinds of fools and rascals are making decisions. But what can they do? What is the result of their legislation? They enact something today just to whimsically repeal it tomorrow. One political party utilizes a country for one purpose, and the next moment another political party forms a different type of government and nullifies all the laws and regulations. This process of chewing the chewed (punah punas carvita-carvananam [SB 7.5.30]) will never make human society happy. In order to make all human society happy and prosperous, we should accept the standard methods given by liberated persons."

Therefore the people in general must be educated to only elect liberated persons, persons who are Krishna conscious, to political office. Then when the world is lead by enlightened Krishna conscious men the entire world will become peaceful and happy.

Answer: Fear of Krishna Is Only for the Sinful

A criminal is afraid of the police and a law-abiding citizen feels protected by the police. Similarly, fear of God is for the materialists who are engaged in all sort of sinful activities, while a devotee has no fear of God because he obeys the laws of God. Rather he knows God as Krishna, the supremely merciful and all-attractive Personality of Godhead, the topmost well-wishing friend of His devotees. Therefore instead of fearing Krishna, He loves Him like anything.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth. He is all-attractive because he exceeds everyone in all of existence by possessing unlimitedly all the qualities that are attractive namely power, beautify, renunciation, knowledge, wealth, and fame.
