Everyone is Looking for Eternal Existence

Everyone is looking for eternal existence. The difficulty is that they are all looking it in the wrong places. Many foolishly think that some day we will attain this by the advancement of science. They do not realize that this entire universe in which we are currently residing will be completely destroyed as soon as Mahavishnu inhales. If we tell them this, they simply laugh and say that this is only a myth. Just see the depth of their ignorance. It's like being on the Titanic and telling a fellow passenger that the ship is sinking, who then refuses to believe it and thus refuses to get in a lifeboat and thus drowns.

We are not so foolish. We realize the temporary nature of this material world and we realize the eternal nature of the self. Thus we head straight for the lifeboat of Krishna bhakti to escape the sinking ship of this material existence.

Question: Can Animals Sin?

Are animals, who live by instinct, capable of sin? For instance, does a dog who kills a small child by biting its neck have to suffer a reaction for that particular vicious act?

Sincerely,

Joe

Answer: No, They Cannot

Animals cannot sin. They suffer no sinful reactions for whatever they do. Their animal birth is a sinful reaction for sins committed when they were human beings in a previous birth. By suffering greatly in their animal body they gradually burn off more and more of their sinful reactions so that in the future they will again get the chance of a human birth.
