Prime Necessity of Human Life

The prime necessity of human life is to realize one's eternal relation with the Lord and thus surrender unto Him without delay. Any another course of action for the human being is suicidal. And there is not much more to be said in this connection. Therefore everyone should become serious about awakening their dormant Krishna consciousness as soon as possible. There is no alternative to this way for man.

Question: Did Jesus Teach to Speak Truthfully?

Do you agree that Jesus taught his followers to speak truthfully and that Jesus himself only taught the truth?

Do you agree that Jesus said the two greatest commandments were:
"Love God with all your heart mind soul and strength" and "Love your neighbor as yourself?"

Yours truly,
Thom

Answer: All Great Acharyas Teach This

It is a fact that Lord Jesus Christ and all the great acharyas (spiritual masters) speak truthfully and train their followers to also speak truthfully. This is absolutely essential for anyone who is serious about attaining genuine happiness in life. They also teach us the most important lesson of all, which is to love God. When one truly loves God, not just in name only, he also automatically loves all of God's children, not just his neighbors. Therefore these great spiritual masters teach us to be compassionate to all of our brothers and sisters, even those with four legs, wings, and fins. That's why we don't eat them.

In this connection in the Bhagavad-gita Lord Sri Krishna teaches us that the humble sages, by virtue of true knowledge, see with equal vision a learned and gentle priest, a cow, an elephant, a dog and a dog-eater. Therefore love for all beings is one of the symptoms of those who are actually saintly.
