Connecting With Krishna in Vrindavana Dhama
On Wednesday 11 September in Sri Vrindavana Dhama we took advantage of the cooler weather early in the morning to go with a group of my disciples on a transcendental boat ride on the Yamuna River. We had a super ecstatic kirtan, and then I explained how Krishna never leaves Vrindavan and how we can connect with Him through loving devotion and thus relish at every minute the unlimited nectar of His divine association.

Question: Are Relatives and Friends True Well-Wishers?
It is generally seen in this material world that when a person is passing through very terrible phase in life, all his relatives, friends, etc. leave him and even try to exploit him and give him more troubles. On the other hand, when the same person undergoes through pleasing situations and happy phase in life, all his known beings join his company.
So my question is that whom should we consider as our well-wishers and whom not?

Answer: The Lord's Devotees Are Our Genuine Well-Wishers
Our true well-wishers are those who stick with us tightly through thick and thin always desiring to help us achieve life's ultimate goal of going back to home, back to Godhead, not those who are only interested in us when we are having material success and abandon us when we are facing material difficulties. The sad reality is that practically everyone in this material worldis tinged with varying degrees of selfishness and exploitativeness. Therefore we should seek out and take complete shelter of our true well-wishers, the pure devotees of the Lord, whose only desire is to help us achieve life's ultimate goal.
