Unlimited Resources at Pure Devotee's Command

By dint of his complete surrender unto Krishna, Krishna's pure devotee has Krishna as his only possession. And because Krishna is the possessor of everything, when the devotee possesses Krishna such a pure devotee's position is as good as being the possessor of everything. Therefore the pure devotee has unlimited resources at his command to engage in the Lord's service. He cannot be lacking in any way. This is confirmed in the following verse from the Bhagavad-gita:

ananyāÅ' cintayanto māṁ
ye janāḥ paryupāsate
teṣāṁ nityābhiyuktānāṁ
yoga-kṣemaṁ vahāmy aham

"But those who always worship Me with exclusive devotion, meditating on My transcendental formâ€"to them I carry what they lack, and I preserve what they have."
--Bhagavad-gita 9.22

For those of us who are not yet completely pure devotees the Lord gives us as much resources as we can properly engage in His service.

How important is cow protection for Vaishnavas, the devotees of the Lord? Could it be that cow care is one of the kinds of devotional service that attracts Krishna's merciful blessings upon the devotees?

Answer: It Is Absolutely Essential for Everyone

Yes, because the cows are very dear to Krishna and because the regular consumption of milk and milk products is necessary for developing finer brain tissues for Vedic understanding, cow protection is indeed one of the activities that attracts the merciful blessings of Krishna and which thus helps us awaken our love for Krishna. When the cows of this world are treated with love and affection the entire world will become peaceful and happy. And as long as the cows are mistreated and abused this planet will be a hellish place where people are regularly tortured and murdered. Therefore cow protection is absolutely essential for the peace and prosperity of the entire human civilization.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
