Take Advantage of Guru Within and Guru Without

The guru within is the Lord within your heart known as the Supersoul. He has been accompanying you for countless billions of lifetimes of your sojourn in the cycle of birth and death as the witness of your activities. When you become inclined to become self-realized for escaping the cycle of birth and death, that Supersoul appears externally as the guru without, the spiritual master who enlightens you and guides you step by step how to attain the perfectional self-realization stage. These two gurus are described as follows in Srimad Bhagavatam 11.29.6:

naivopayanty apacitiṁ kavayas taveśa
brahmāyuṣāpi kṛtam ṛddha-mudaḥ smarantaḥ
yo 'ntar bahis tanu-bhṛtām aśubhaṁ vidhunvann
ācārya-caittya-vapuṣā sva-gatiṁ vyanakti

''O my Lord! Transcendental poets and experts in spiritual science could not fully express their indebtedness to You, even if they were endowed with the prolonged lifetime of Brahma, for You appear in two features-externally as the acarya and internally as the Supersoul-to deliver the embodied living being by directing him how to come to You."

If one is intelligent enough to take advantge of these two gurus, he will achieve unlimited happiness in this lifetime and enter into the transcendental pastimes of Lord Sri Krishna at the time of death.

Your eternal servant,
Ghanshyam M.

Answer: You May Keep Your Employment

In this material world it is very difficult to find a means of earning a livelihood which has absolutely no contact with sinful activities. In your situation you are not directly touching meat, nor is your company a slaughterhouse which is exclusively engaged in cow killing. Plus since you are sincerely engaging the fruits of your work in the Lord's service in an admirable way, your means of employment is acceptable in the Vedic context and can be maintained.
