There's No Place Like Krishnaloka
Don't waste your time trying to find a ideal place of residence within this material existence. There is no such place. Anywhere you may go within this vast universe from the higher planets all the way down to the lower planets, you will find that every place is a place of misery. So if you want to find a place where you can be truly happy, perpetually free from all anxieties, you have no option but to return to your original home in the spiritual sky. There are an unlimited number of wonderful planets in the spiritual sky. Out of all of them there is one planet which is most special. That planet is called Krishnaloka. It is the personal residence of Lord Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. If you become His pure devotee, that abode will be your destination upon leaving your present material body. You will reside with Krishna eternally there as a full participant in His unlimitedly sweet transcendental pastimes.

Question: What is Salvation and How to Attain It?
Dear Mr. Adhikari,
Could you please explain the term 'Salvation'? What is the usefulness of it, and how to attain it? How can ISKCON help its devotees attain this? Is there any one in the Order of ISKCON who has attained this blessed state? I'd appreciate if you could please answer me.

Answer: Become Krishna's Associate by Obeying Sri Guru
Salvation in general means to be liberated from the cycle of birth and death. For a devotee of the Lord salvation specifically means to become an eternal associate of Lord Sri Krishna in His transcendental pastimes in the spiritual sky. There is nothing more useful than such salvation because through it one becomes eternally free from all anxiety. It is attained by receiving the seed of bhakti within the heart through the combined mercy of Krishna and the spiritual master and then cultivating that seed properly by dedicating one's life fully to carrying out the instructions received from the spiritual master. In ISKCON there are many bona fide spiritual masters who can expertly guide you how to easily attain the supreme perfection in this lifetime. These bona fide spiritual masters are nicely described in the Srimad Bhagavatam 11.3.21 as follows:
tasmād guruṁ prapadyeta
jijñāsuḥ śreya uttamam
śābde pare ca niṣṇātaṁ
brahmaṇy upaśamāśrayam
jijñāsuḥ śreya uttamam
śābde pare ca niṣṇātaṁ
brahmaṇy upaśamāśrayam
"Therefore any person who seriously desires real happiness must seek a bona fide spiritual master and take shelter of him by initiation. The qualification of the bona fide guru is that he has realized the conclusions of the scriptures by deliberation and is able to convince others of these conclusions. Such great personalities, who have taken shelter of the Supreme Godhead, leaving aside all material considerations, should be understood to be bona fide spiritual masters."
