Spiritual Revolution for Planet Earth
In spite of the repeated flowery promises of the world's politicians, there is no material solution for the multi-faceted perilous situation of the planet earth society. Because Krishna or God is the actual center of all existence, to live in a natural state of harmony with our surroundings requires that we awaken our original, natural, pure state of God consciousness or Krishna consciousness. Therefore a global spiritual awakening, a spiritual revolution, is absolutely necessary if the earth planet society is going to ever be peaceful, happy, and prosperous.
"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." (Matthew 10:28)

asuryā nāma te lokā
andhena tamasāvṛtāḥ
tāṁs te pretyābhigacchanti
ye ke cātma-hano janāḥ
"The killer of the soul, whoever he may be, must enter into the planets known as the worlds of the faithless, full of darkness and ignorance."
In his purport to this verse Srila Prabhupada clarifies who is the killer of the soul:
"The material world is sometimes compared to an ocean, and the human body is compared to a solid boat designed especially to cross this ocean. The Vedic scriptures and the acharyas, or saintly teachers, are compared to expert boatmen, and the facilities of the human body are compared to favorable breezes that help the boat ply smoothly to its desired destination. If, with all these facilities, a human being does not fully utilize his life for self-realization, he must be considered ātma-hā, a killer of the soul. Sri Isopanisad warns in clear terms that the killer of the soul is destined to enter into the darkest region of ignorance to suffer perpetually."
So in the light of the Vedic wisdom we can understand that the Bible confirms that if a person does not utilize his human life to reconnect with God, he is more dangerous to himself than someone who comes to murder him.

Answer: Vedic Understanding of Bible Verse
Although the soul cannot be killed, he is considered dead or worse than dead when he is cut off from his loving relationship with God. There is a confirmed in the Sri Isopanisad, Mantra 3 as follows:asuryā nāma te lokā
andhena tamasāvṛtāḥ
tāṁs te pretyābhigacchanti
ye ke cātma-hano janāḥ
